University Honors at Virginia Tech is designed for its students to create their own education. It represents the best students at the university, comprised of students from all seven of the undergraduate colleges. Students have access to unique curricula, top faculty, scholarship opportunities, and two living-learning communities. University Honors has been an example of how to build VT-shaped students, through its rich offerings for student participants.
The program is currently in a transition to an Honors College, with Paul Knox, University Distinguished Professor and senior fellow for international advancement, leading the effort.
