Referrals and Cases
Referrals are a key part of Virginia Tech’s coordinated care model. They help ensure that students don’t fall through the cracks by creating a shared responsibility for student success across departments. When a referral is submitted, it initiates a behind-the-scenes process that prioritizes timely outreach, resource connection, and holistic support for the student.
