How to get to Hokie Registration in HokieSPA
- Login to HokieSPA with your VT PID and password.
- Select the HokieSPA tab
- From the list of links on the HokieSPA tab, locate the “Course Registration and Schedule Menu” link
- Use the links provided in this menu to prepare for registration, review details on each link in the table below
- To access Hokie Registration, select the term link for which you plan to course request or add/drop classes
- Each semester, you will be prompted to complete pre-registration checks before entering Hokie Registration. Work through any actions with a red triangle
- When all actions are green (expect for FERPA which will always have a question mark icon), your page will reload to take you to Hokie Registration

| View Holds |
Click on this link to check if you have any active holds. If you do, follow the instructions provided to resolve the hold. All holds must be resolved to successfully submit course registration. Note: most holds cannot be resolved instantly; give yourself enough time to resolve holds before any course registration period closes. |
