Viewing Registration Holds

A Hold is a restriction that may impact a student’s ability to make changes to their schedule, view transcripts, and more. Holds are placed on a student’s account for a number of reasons. View the table below to learn more about each main hold type, what it means, and how to resolve the hold.

To view holds on a student’s account, follow these steps:

  1. Log into HokieSpa
  2. Click on the HokieSpa Tab.
  3. Click on Hokie Wallet.
  4. Click on Administrative Holds. This screen will show any holds or say No Holds. Contact your academic advisor or the office indicated on the hold for more details.
