Advising Technology Peer Educators Program
Helping Hokies navigate the tools that support their academic journey
Advising Technology Peer Educators (ATPEs) are trained undergraduate student leaders who promote technology literacy related to academic planning and student success. ATPEs collaborate with Academic Advising Initiatives to help students understand and use tools designed to support informed decision-making throughout their time at Virginia Tech.
Peer Educators may:
- Facilitate presentations on academic planning
- Host outreach events or information tables during peak advising times
- Create student-facing educational materials
- Demonstrate advising technologies and resources
- Support campus initiatives related to advising technologies
Our goal is to create a proactive, student-centered support network that empowers students to use advising tools, understand their academic paths, and connect with resources early and often.
