Request an Academic Planning Workshop

Interested in having a member of our team facilitate an academic planning workshop?

Workshops are available the 3^rd week through the 12^th week of fall and spring semesters. In 50 minutes, Advising Technology Peer Educators will demonstrate how to run a DARs report and how to create a HokieGPS plan, allowing time for students to work on creating their plan during the workshop.

 Workshops may be suitable for: 

• FYE courses
• Peer mentor programs
• Faculty-sponsored student organizations

Due to high demand, it is recommended to request a workshop at least two weeks in advance. Requests include preferred weeks of the term to allow our team the best opportunity to accommodate requests.
